High Legh Railway 7 ¼ inch 

The High Legh Railway first opened in 2009, and operates in the northern section of High Legh Garden Centre. Departing from a two road station next to the car park, the ride consisting of two times round the track, taking passengers through greenery. Trains are operated by a range of petrol and battery locomotives. 2011 sees a new "into the Woods" Project being completed with a 500 yard extension and halt. The Garden Centres £1/2m refurbishment programme starts September 2011, to be completed by February 2012. The extension will feature a small play area in the woodland.
