Orchard Farm Lakeside Railway 10 ¼ inch

The Orchard Farm Lakeside Railway is situated in Orchard Farm Holiday Village in Hunmanby and first opened in 1995, built originally by Allan Hunneybell. The line runs for 600 yards in the centre of the holiday village running through grassland and round a lake. There is a tunnel en route and an attractive station, which has an overall roof and a footbridge. Originally the railway was steam worked alongside a HST diesel loco, though trains are now worked mainly by an ex-Morecambe Bay diesel, with a diesel shunter in reserve. The Fairlie is currently under construction.
