Belton Light Railway 7 ¼ inch
The Belton House Miniature Railway runs in the grounds of the beautiful Belton House. The station is situated next to the children’s adventure playground and from here, trains run over a level crossing and through a tunnel to reach the end of the line. Trains then reverse back to the station on the 500yd track. There is a footbridge and a two road engine shed at the station. The trains are run by the diesel locomotive. Originally trains were steam worked and has been operated by other Mardyke locos.
