Cattle Country Miniature Railway 10 ¼ inch

The railway was opened by Bob Symes of BBCs Tomorrows World in April 2005. Originally built by Joe Nemeth, it was the home of many pieces of equipment from the Oakhill Manor Railway. Joe recently handed operation over to Cattle Country Park. The line is an out and back journey of nearly one mile and is worked by petrol locomotive 'Badger' which previously was 7.25" gauge and worked on the Ness Islands Railway and the Sanday Light Railway. Recent addition to the line is an extension which terminates at "Oakhill station" where passengers can alight. This area has been developed with farm trails, picnic areas and pets corner.
