Clevedon Miniature Railway 15 inch

First opened in 1952 as a 9.5 inch gauge line, and steam operated by an Ivatt Atlantic, it was a simple out and back with two sit astride carriagess. Extended to a circuit in 1962, the steam locomotive was soon replaced by an American Bo-Bo diesel which hauled trains until 1976. The line was upgraded with a Severn Lamb Rio Grande locomotive in 1976, running in this form until 2012, when it was put up for concession. With a new operator in 2013, the track was regauged to 15 inch to accomodate a new steam outline locomotive and two open Severn Lamb carriages. Trains run round the outskirts of a field next to the seafront, with attractions often being present in the middle. There is a spur to the shed next to the station.
