Combe Martin Wildlife Park Railway 15 inch
The Combe Martin Wildlife Park Railway (now nicknamed the Earthquake Train Ride) first opened in 1989 and gave a run of around 150 yards. In 1991 the line was extended to its present situation. The lines runs from a station and runs past a Gold Mining Shanty Town and an artificial Stream which when the train runs past, 6000 gallons of water rush down against a deflecting wall and splashes all the passengers. Trains are pulled by a Severn Lamb ‘Rio Grande’ loco. The engine and stock used to be in blue livery but have been changed to green recently.
