Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway 7 ¼ inch

The Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway first opened in 1996 to commemorate the centenary of the Duke of Westminster's railway at nearby Eaton Hall. The line was opened and first operated by Robin Butterell but was taken over by three members. The railway was operated by a Roger Greatrex petrol engine and a steam engine called ‘Tinker’ but these were moved when the owners sold the railway in 1999. Stephen Hardin the current owner took over using a second hand diesel as motive power, and has since purchased more locomotives and rolling stock including Thomas II 'Stevie B'. The engine shed has been extended to accomodate the additions. The line runs for ¼ mile in a large circle which en route you travel over a bridge and circle a duck pond.
