Halton Miniature Railway 7 ¼ inch
The Halton Miniature Railway which is situated in the Town Park and runs for 1 mile round a complicated circular route. Trains depart from Mousetrap Station, near the park entrance and shortly bear left to a very long balloon loop. Halfway along the loop is a chord for trains taking a ‘short’ journey. There are several passing loops on the way round, for work trains or for pausing locos if need be. Special Days are regularly held including special steam and enthusiasts weekends.
