Hilcote Valley Railway 7 ¼ inch
The Hilcote Valley Railway opened in 1993, operated by Roger Greatrex, who commercially builds miniature railway equipment. The line is a circular route leaving a smart landscaped station which has a booking office, raised platform and a signal box. From here trains leave in a clockwise direction via a loop circuit, providing an enjoyable ride around the lake, then passing through a tunnel before returning to the platform. There is also a replica bridge.
