Orchard Farm Lakeside Railway 10 ¼ inch
The Orchard Farm Lakeside railway is situated in Orchard Farm Holiday Village in Hunmanby. It first opened in 1995 being built by Allan Hunneybell and was a dumb-bell loop line. Over the years Allan had put the railway up for sale and finally in 2002, he sold the railway to Mr Dugdale. It is now a circular line and it reopened in Easter 2004. On site there is a tunnel, cuttings and a wonderful station, which has an overall roof and a footbridge. Originally the railway had three steam locos and one HST diesel loco which are not on site anymore. Work is currently under way to construct a single fairlie replica like Talesin, of the Ffestiniog railway.
